I'll try and chime in since... I basically used vihsadas' method
If you're like 90% of premeds, you'll probably need some more time... to do what Vihsadas did... it's possible to get that 40 by studying hardcore and just "getting the AAMC" naturally without having to do much analysis. But if you read what he said, he knew the concepts down almost 100% before trying out his strategy. If you save 1 month for practice tests and analysis, will you be able to get the material down in 1.5 months. It's up to you to decide.

Just remember that whatever you do, make sure your practice scores are consistently where you want them to be... if they're not, don't take the test.
