the reason i ask about this condition is because i have it. In my research what i've found is that some male patients with hypopituitarism experience this problem.
i have hypopituitarism. A pituitary tumor causing growth hormone and testosterone deficiency. The ejaculatory anedonia started at the same time as my endocrine problems.
6 months of genotropin and testim have not elevated the problem.
i'm thinking that it may be possible that the oxytocin production that starts in the hypothalumus and travels through the pituitary could be affected by the tumor on the pituitary.
dopamine travels through the hypothaluimus/pituitary axis converting to prolactin. Prolactin levels have been normal.
