Default Should I choose a more prestigous med school if i'm considering MBA

i don't know yet, but i have strong inclination towards business given my history.

i have options at cheaper, less highly ranked med schools vs. more expensive, US News ranking top-10 ones

should this play a role in my decision? Would going to UCSF or Yale () be more advantageous in teh future vs, say, Emory or Case Western (where I have some money offered)?

You don't need a UCSF or Yale med for a top 7 MBA program... maybe it'd help a bit, but you would need more than a pretty name on your resume to secure a spot at HBS.
Plus, why do you even want to get a MBA? The main benefit of a HBS, Wharton, or GSB is recruiting and networking - neither of which requires a MD for success
