What are the prescribing rights in the state of New York? What can optometrists prescribe and what can't they prescribe?
Can New York ODs treat glaucoma? What are the stipulations? Do you have any idea what reciprocity/endorsement is like in New York? This person is 15 years out of optometry school but is in a state which probably exceeds New York's prescribing rights. I know someone who is thinking of moving to New York and needs some info. Thanks for your help!

Basically what Meibomian said and also Topicals only with TMOD examination (pretty sure).
Its really easy to get a license here. They basically just want your $$. Btw, its funny that you posted this anonymously on the ODWire forum |
