Does someone want to find me an apartment? I'm spending more time than I care to admit on Craigslist searching for housing

Same here, though I've been using padmapper.com for browsing listings. Helps immensely being able to see things on a map.

Aw. I'd help if I could.

I'm looking for something to distract me right now. Work is becoming more difficult to tolerate and it's even getting me down at home. Is it too soon for a vacation?

It seems that we're all distracting ourselves by making budgets, searching for apartments, and being subsequently depressed by it all. Do join in the fun, won't you.

Not to brag or anything, but I'm going to St. Kitts and Nevis for a week in about a week and a half.

I refuse to think about money anymore. I'd like to wait until at least 3rd year to be full-fledged jaded.

You're right. I haven't been keeping up on SDN. I'm assuming you spend most of your time in the lounge though...I haven't worked up the nerve to get in there.

Wait. You're a 2016er, right? I forget.

Official CDC guidelines were released on how to prepare for/survive the zombie apocalypse: http://emergency.cdc.gov/socialmedia/zombies_blog.asp

I've also seen "get some blowup dolls and fill them up with helium" floated around as an idea for a prank.

Even more epic trolling: arrange them in and around a local church. Preferably one that's either very intensely dogmatic or that is a little unusual.

To-do list for tomorrow:

• Drive parents to airport at 8am

• Go to post office and apply for a passport

• Go to thrift store and buy old clothes that cannot be traced back to me

• Troll my parents' wacko church while they are out of the country

Plus, although my parents do not believe the rapture will occur tomorrow, they do, in fact, believe that their church is the only correct one and that no one outside of their church will be raptured. And...intensely dogmatic? Check. A little unusual? Ultracheck.

But on second thought, I think their church installed security cameras after the last "incident" (I plead the fif). I have skills, but not the type of skills needed to avoid getting caught on camera

So one of my friends told me about this "Lollpalooza" thing, and while I had heard of it I didn't know much about it (I'm not a hipster or concert-going type). I found out that I'll be in Chicago when it's going down. Is it worth checking out? $90/day or $215 for the weekend seems pretty steep.

It's about the standard price for all-day music events. Lollapalooza is a pretty famous one.

I *may* have just gotten some big news... but unfortunately the school in question's admissions office closed about 5 minutes before I checked my online status. Stay tuned until Monday when it's official. Just my luck

yeah, I'm gonna try to pick up some per diem weekend hours at the rehab institute down the street from my school. Might as well make use of my $60,000 master of occupational therapy degree

I asked the question at all the schools I interviewed at, and everyone said it was definitely possible to hold down a few hours a week job during the 1st two years

Thanks! I was also about to say that a friend of mine checked into "Five guys" on Facebook, which made me realize I wanted "Five guys"..but I'm a vegetarian and not eating meat right now.

Has anyone had Five Guys before? I'm excited to have one in Brooklyn, but not necessarily sure I want to pay like 10 dollars for a burger. :-/

Also, is there a way to track or "favorite" certain forum members?

Yep! They started up ~10 miles from my hometown. I don't usually eat burgers, though, so I usually go for a grilled cheese sammich with grilled onions, and of course Cajun fries.

Wait. You're a 2016er, right? I forget.

Do it. Live it.

Cougs, I'm going to attempt to stop coffee. I want to be a part of the cool kids (non-drinkers) club with you.
