Default MCAT On Demand: Writing Sample

Hi,

I'm currently signed up for Kaplan's MCAT on Demand and I've just completed FL 1. I was wondering if Kaplan provides a service in which our Writing Samples can be evaluated. Right now, when I click on my Smart Report, it doesn't provide me with any score for my writing sample.

I know Princeton does provide a writing sample evaluation, so I was just wondering if Kaplan provided the same.

If not, then how do we get our Writing Samples evaluated?

Hi stantibody!

I just called 1-800-KAPTEST to ask the super cool customer service people about essay grading for On Demand and...it's totally simple! YAY!

In your On Demand online syllabus, there is a link you can click on titled "Academic Support" which opens up a multi-field window into which you may copy and paste your writing sample(s). The awesome Kaplan graders will receive it/them and send you a score in response!

To learn more about this feature, or for help finding the "Academic Support" link call 1-800-KAPTEST.

Enjoy!

i called the 800 number and they told me to paste my essays into the academic support form. so i did that, but kaplan still replied that i have to score my essays myself, using the rubric explained in on-demand lesson 2
WTF?

Hmmmm. That doesn't sound right. Send me your essays to me via PM and I'll either grade them myself, or get a grader to look at them ASAP

Let's get you on your way to a perfect writing score!

that's very kind of you, thank you so much!
unfortunately it looks like there is no "attach" feature, so i'll just copy and paste the essays into the message field.
thanks again!

I'm having the same trouble with getting feedback on my full-length 1 essays I tried calling and sending the essays through academic support, but I keep hearing back to grade them myself. Are there any options to send them to a real instructor for an objective look?

Thanks!!
