Default Full Spectrum Lighting and Circadian Rhythm

Recently I was looking to purchase a simple desk lamp and noted that "full-spectrum" light was suggested as best for reading. Additionally, I've seen that full-spectrum is available for general household lighting as well.

Does full-spectrum lighting affect circadian rhythms, mood, photoaging (skin) or the eyes?
