To anyone who interviewed at Berkeley- has anyone gotten an acceptance call yet?

LOL. My heart almost dropped for a second when I saw the subject because I thought you guys got call backs already! hahaha. Didn't get one either. BTW, do you guys remember the date for Admit Day?

and getting these replies to this thread from you guys gives me a heart attack each time! lol.
I just remember admit day is sometime in April, not sure of the exact date.

I read somewhere on SDN that they start calls at 5PM? I could be wrong though.

I got a call a month ago asking if I was still coming to the interview (and I told them that I wouldn't). They basically said that I would pretty much get in if I just showed up...

Did you even apply there? That's kind of mean to pull everyone's leg if you didn't. It seems like you applied to Pacific, SCCO, and Western but nothing about Berkeley.

Who knows? People can say whatever they want on the internet. To be frank though, if she got rejected from PCO for her GPA, I wonder if she even got an interview at Berkeley.

Funny though, janedoe88, I noticed a girl in the SCCO 2016 facebook group similar to you, so congrats on getting in there? I would hope though that you'd not pull our legs though about getting an acceptance call from Berkeley. Some of us are on edge and checking our phones every five minutes.

Just be patient everybody. Best of luck to getting a call.

I'm definitely on edge. I was looking at last year's thread and it seems like they started calls today of last year. but I mean that doesn't really say anything about the day they start this year...just makes me nervous! good luck to all of you

Just got an email from them (I imagine everyone from interview day will get the same!) that they are close to finalizing decisions, but haven't yet and won't be contacting anyone until the end of next week. So relax on the phone checking for a week *big breath in and out*

ummm I got an interview from PCO and never went cause I got accepted to schools in CA (where it's sunny!!!)

exactly, i thought it was a pretty obvious joke. Also I heard that Berkeley accepts a LARGE portion of interviewees since you already had to pass certain requirements to get one, they probably want you. RELAX, everyone, I'm sure you did great lol.

Super excited for everyone who has heard so far! I'm still waiting to hear...biting my nails and freaking out haha =P. Anyone who has already received a call...are you willing to share your stats, in/out of state, and place in the alphabet (lol...hey, why no have one more piece to worry about? )? Thanks! I'm exactly in the same position optoapp2012. Biting my nails! Place in the alphabet would be helpful...This is torture! I thought everyone was supposed to find out at the same time. Trying not to get disappointed but its so hard!!

Just wondering did Dr. Corzine call everyone who has gotten accepted so far, also what time did you guys get called? I'm also holding my breath and hoping they take more than one day to notify everyone who has been accepted! Thanks and congrats to those of you that have got the oh so desired phone call!

From previous posts, it seems like they take more than one day. It seems like several of us haven't heard yet...and that's too many of us for them to have called *everyone* already. At least that's what I'm telling myself

Sup guys,
I got called by Arianna at around 3 pm Pacific time. The moment I looked at my phone and it said calling from the Berkeley area, I knew what was up. My last name starts with W btw. Anyone else get the additional 3000 dollar award? I'm wondering if it's actually a big deal or not -_-;

Oh also I'm out of state, 380 TS and AA OAT, 3.44 GPA just cause I always wished I could see other people's stats when applying.

Yeah, she talked about like 4k for all students and 3.5k for out of state first, and an extra 3k for "special" applicants. Just wondering if anyone knew much about it
