Psssh, homework. I am happily graduated and doing what I please until school starts. I just made some more arrangements for my upcoming trip to New Mexico, and I acquired some excellent new hiking boots over the weekend for said trip.

Btw, can anyone else believe this vanilla chicken lady?! What a bimbo.

i just finished 6 seasons of Bones.

On to the next one...

Downton abbey? Netflix instant streaming is slim pickins for me these days. then again, in the last year or two it's already introduced me to: Lost, Mad Men, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Heroes, Veronica Mars.... so i guess i shouldn't be terribly surprised.

before it becomes irrelevant, a QOTD:

"I honestly bet, though, that Brett Ratner wishes that he was organizing the Grammys, because they seem much more forgiving than the Oscars altogether. Seriously. You say a few hateful things, they don't let you within 100 yards of the Oscars. You can literally beat the sh!t out of a nominee and they let you perform TWICE at the Grammys." - Seth Rogen

preach.

I've music from Donkey Kong Country 2 stuck in my head for the past several hours. It's the song from the woodsy levels of Gloomy Gulch.

nice.

i've been cleaning and cooking in my kitchen for the last 2 hours. made a broccoli slaw salad, and currently slowcooking some veggies in a spicy creamy sauce i made from scratch. i'm quite proud of myself now if only i could be quicker in the kitchen, these habits might actually be sustainable in med school....

haha, it'll be over before you know it. you should take the time to do all the things you wanted to do in college but didnt get the chance to yet. like....streaking across the quads. or blowing off class and taking a road trip with friends to another college nearby and crashing their parties. auditioning for some crazy reality tv show, to troll and see the other people out there IRL. go to a ridiculous concert.

Let's say you got a C in a class (non-prereq). What would happen?

That orange thing is even funnier if you make a horizontal slit and several vertical slits (so it looks like teeth) and then turn it around so the white side faces out.

When I was in Haiti I used to do that with coconut meat and the kids would laugh and laugh.

I cut teeth into one side of a lemon peel and stick the non-teeth side under my upper lip, white surface facing out. It gives you nice, protruding teeth, and it's fun to do at restaurants when you're out with kids (like my 3-year old nephews). Here's a example:
