looking for psychiatry open spots

I did not match this year and wanted to know if anyone knows of any open PGY1 spots in psychiatry. If you know of any or hear of some opening up please let me know. Thank you.

I'm sorry you didn't match, that whole process is hell and cruel. But none of us on the board (even the lurkingly helpful) program directors, could hire you out this way. And anything the rez's tell you is rumor. I'm assuming you had the "scramble" list of unfilleds...if you're really feeling desperate, you could try calling some programs directly. Otherwise, I wish you all the best.

PGY2 and above I can help with. PGY1, did you not have any luck in the scramble? Best thing to do is contact a large spread of programs and see if there are any openings. Its late. But it may also vary if you are an IMG or US Grad. Write up a CV and email it out and call cordinators. Have you asked your dean of student affairs for help or suggestions?
