I wouldn't count it as shadowing. I would only count interships/job/shadowing in a dental office as shadowing.

It counts as an Academic Enrichment Program on your AADSAS application. How individual schools treat it depends.

Yes it does... I attend two programs like that from baylor... in the summer you will observe a total of five dentist for 5 hours each...
