Search around the net for more NHSC info and found this interesting blog from a female pediatrician. Sound like physicians are getting the short end of the stick

The NHSC still is only 2-4 years, depending on how many years they flip the bill for one's education; you give back what they paid for you in terms of years. 4 years of scholarship = 4 years of service.

I see this is about the loan repayment program. Anyhow, good link. It's good to read about these perspectives.
