As you are from Canada, you can gather more info. Things are pretty closer for you, you can make a call or go directly to the NDEB of Canada, their address is writen in the webpage.

it is all on their website. it is like a 4 stp process.
1. web based self assessment
2. evaluation of ur degrees and transcripts
3. a theory exam
4. a clinical exam
everythn from syllabus to type of exams n info about clinical exam is on their website
after u clear all these exams, there wud be another theory n practical exam which u need for licensure. but this exam , evryone has to give like even those who r graduating frm canada also. then u can practice in canada without getting into any dds advanced placement program.

what i dont get is, if you went to a non-accredited school... why are you soon keen on coming here? obviously the standards ofyour schools did not meet the north american requirements... the industry is becoming saturated as it is... why dont you leave the remaining opportunities for the north american trained dentists...

i really hope the petition gets large enough so this NDEB Equivalency Process will be taken away, and limited spots available to advanced standing students instead of a free for all... lets all go to the north america and saturate the dental market???

As per for being from non accredited school, that is exactly why foreign trained graduates are required to appear for Equivalency Process.
Believe me that standard of foreign dental schools is not so low, at least i can speak for India. Its only that one gets paid much better in North America, that's why so many people want to move there.

If Canadian government is making it easier for foreign trained graduates, i am sure it has got reasons for doing so.
Eventually the general population living in your country gets benefited too by getting better medical care.

Hey, please, just don't justified the fact that every foreign students wants to go to US just for economical reasons. In my case, i would like to live with the other half of my family that lives there, also would like to move out of my country, bc there's not security in all aspects (delinquency, corruption, etc.) Have u ever worked without water or without light? Have u ever have been working with a patient and suddenly comes a blackout? If so, then u should know why many ppl wants to leave their third world countries behind... If u dont, then research and read world news.

i am not justifying anything here, just stating a fact. It might not hold true for some people, but for most, it does.

Default Evaluation of documents

Hi ..

step 2- evaluation of degree and transcripts ... is NDEB do itself or do we have pay for that as well .. like agencies like WES do documnet verification .. Do we need to pay the agency and get them verified or we should be bothered about it.

I didn't find any details on website - how do the doicument verification will be done ?? is it us need to do something to initiate that or NDEB will ask for the documnets from us and do the verification itself.

Please provide info on it ,,,

cheers
