Default Pre-grad school options

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I am graduating in a few weeks with my Bachelor's degree but am taking some time off before grad school to save up some money. I am currently job searching but was curious if anyone else is in this same position and what their plans are for after graduation. Does anyone have job suggestions that are in the rehab field but don't need a graduate school degree? Thanks!

Hi OTstudent7,

I work as a rehab tech in an outpatient hospital clinic. The clinic I work for basically was looking for someone interested in pursuing a graduate degree in health science. This position really offered me a lot of shadowing, and participating exposure to the OT field. I think it also helped me stand out among other applicants. The money wasn't great, but it will definitely either help solidify your decision to become an OT, or help you realize it is not for you.
