I had that problem too and i figured it out that in my case its not as if i exceeded the word limit.
It just did not accept the paste and copy so i typed it all in.

Do that as well, you might be be able to put your personal statement if you type it as to copy and paste.

My question is that I plan to take part 2 in July now can I send the results to schools who only require Part 1 after their deadline is passed? Since it is not a requirement, just an added bonus to the app?

Hi nbpoise, even i am having problem saving the Personal statement..i called up CAAPID ..the person who took the call told me to type it in the CAAPID application itself rather than copy, pasing from the Word Document or notepad. I have tried that but it doesnt seem to be working either! It happens when you exceed the limit.

'Deadline' has this name for a reason... lol

Some schools have preference for early applicants, some others only start reviewing applications after the deadline. I've read all kinds of stories here on SDN, but it comes down to getting to know the schools you're applying for. Send them emails then go from there, if you have positive answers go for it!

CAAPID does not require NBDE copy/original.

Just read their instructions carefully.

I guess that deadline is pretty straightforward... but since it is not a requirement I thought maybe there would be some leeway space =)

I think you can write them in other relevant information in professional experience....

Hi agarwood, I think it is better if you order the NBDE report to your self then you send it to the school but do not open the envelop, as all the schools require an official report. You do not have to send score reports to CAAPID, check this link

I think you can write about shadowing and assisting in other work experience of professional experience

I think we can't write internship separately as it is a part of BDS program.. anyways double check with others

can anybody pls tell what should we write Resume or CV as there is some difference in them and in some dental schools' website its asked for resume and others it is CV? CV ( may be 2 pages )is longer than Resume( 1 page).

Is there any score with the new system, i guess it is only pass or fail

I think original\official means that the document is sealed from the source, but I am not sure if there is any difference; however they accept notarized copies

Even my college is not listed. I choose not listed from list .. if you select that you will get another bar down where you can write college name. Hope this helps

even i feel somehow that it cannot be mentioned in practice of dentistry...

In your registration certificate they will give u a number... I think you can write that number , I did that way.. hope this helps. But do confirm with others

I think you are right because practice of dentistry means you should have a country licence. so we cant enter anything regarding US experiences....

No I did not, but I called CAAPID and they said they have a problem with the system try after 24 hours, I tried and it worked.

I have two questions, the first is about the supplemental application for UCLA they required an essay that no more than 500 words, is it ok to write the same personal statement we are gonna submit in CAAPID?
The second question is about UPENN supplemental application there is the essay they required in the form of Q&A mine is only one page and a half, do we have to write more?I actually do not have more to talk about, I tried to be concise.

Can anybody plz guide me how to order additional score reports, in electronically, there are 2 options --first to order for state board n u have to select state name from the list and then second is on next page any other organisation entity ........

my query is how i can order so that score report comes to me and then i can send in supplemental packet, where to mention my address ?
Next , if i have to send directly to the dental school where should i put the address of school as i think when we select name of state that goes to state board not to school ??

Just skip the state board list and the next page put the address of wherever you want the reports to be mailed (your address if to you) and the school address you want. You will not be able to order more than three at a time so you have to repeat the process if want more.
In my opinion request all the reports to your address then send it to any school u want, you will not wast more than two days in this process.

Some colleges provided their own college code for toefl.. and some ask for the reports to sent directly from toefl / nbde... Is it ok for those colleges too if we send sealed copies which we have???

For University of Michigan they mentioned that the do not receive paper copies of the toefl. UIC they mentioned they want it to be sent directly from ETS; however I couldn't find any code in their website, does any one know UIC code?

Put your name as the entity name, and the contact name, and you do not need to specify for each school. I was like you, confused about all these stuffs but I called them and that was their suggestion. If you want to be more certain just call them and leave voice message, they will contact you at the same day.
