Anyone know what kind of simple and cheap non-optical low vision aids that can made by ourself ....???

The most successful non-optical low vision aid I have found is the 'Control' and + keys simultaneously on the computer.

Seriously. Very few people older folks seem to know about this awesome option on the computer. Magnifies as big as most will need.

Of course, I'm sure you were thinking along a different line.

Non optical? The only non optical low vision aid I know of is your arms. Hold your material closer to your eye to increase relative distance magnification.
