I know people of the school are probably taking bets as to when Id post this. whoever bet "immediately" is the winner. selected locations of match site for the aoa and nrmp. we were not told what field they matched into, but by location alone I'm extremely excited to see these results.

Hello,

I'm not part of the class of 2016 but I will be entering Touro's Master's program in the fall. I will be taking the same classes as you first years. I just need some help with housing and how to go about finding some good apartments close to the school.

You could join the facebook group and participate in the roommate match survey one of our members created. After that, I'd advise speaking with a broker.

This list is not complete because it does not include the military matches. I know we had one student match Ortho in the AF/Army. I don't know about gen surg in the military but it would be good to complete this list.

ACGME gen surg is tough to match into in the manhattan area.

Touro will be starting new residencies in FM, IM, general surgery, and traditional rotating internship starting July 1, 2012. The residencies will be based out of palisades medical center and will include meadowlands hospital, and englewood hospital as well as several other hospitals and clinics in north NJ. Touro also had applied for residencies in dermatology, EM, and anesthesia but no word on their progress or rejection.

yea. If you hear anything on the derm progam I'd be interested in that. I'm not interested at all in derm, but I got to talk a bit with the guy who is supposed to be running the program. I dont want to directly ask him what happened with the approval for derm (especially given that our conversation was casual since derm isn't my thing). He appears to have sufficient pathology load between the hospitals... just curious why it didnt get approved yet.
