Default Retaking orgo I

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I took orgo I a year ago and took the second part this last semester, not by choice. I am doing terrible in orgo II and I was going to take it in the fall but it's I'm buried on the waitlist . I'm thinking about taking the first semester over (I got a B the first time) and taking part two in the spring. I want to go into the second semester with the intuition that comes along after the first semester. I don't know if I should wait and potentially have to take part two in the spring anyway or just do the year sequence this fall/spring.

I personally think retaking orgo is overkill. Just read "Organic Chemistry as a Second Language." That should catch you up on where you need to be. If there are concepts there that you don't understand, crack a textbook. That's what I would do anyway. Good luck.

Don't punish yourself by taking orgo 1 again when you already have a solid B. Just revise the basics, and hit orgo 2 hard from the beginning.

Best of luck.
