There is no "right" answer to your question. Applicants will be screened for interview as soon as the admissions offices begin considering complete applications, shortly after they are submitted. As interview spots fill up with qualified applicants, your chances of being invited to interview diminish. The sooner you submit your MCAT score, the better.

I wish to ask a related question. Is being a reapplicant unfavorable to an extent that one is better off applying early in the next cycle than applying this cycle with a late (mid to late August) MCAT score?

Applying early is always favorable, even for the ideal applicant. First time reapplicant status won't put you at a disadvantage if you've made significant improvements to your application since your last attempt.
