Looking for a PGY-3 position in Family Medicine beginning July 2012.

I am currently a PGY-2 good standing in my Family Medicine residency.

Any suggestions?

Is the position you are leaving already filled or are you interested in a swap? I may be open to a swap and am currently at a solid program in the Midwest. Where are you located?

I thought the last two years of a family med residency had to be in the same program, according to the ABFM.

I am also in the midwest. The position is NOT filled. This is also a solid program. Great residents. Great PD. Moderate to light patient loads and flexible schedule.

Let me know.

Perhaps there can be some exceptions made. My program is great. I've just gotten tied up with problems and want to get out.

Please let me know.

I would check before you make any plans to move. It would be terrible that you couldn't be board certified because of that.

It IS possible, but I should contact the ABFM I guess.

Here is the link where I found this info:

Please keep the discussion limited to the transfer/swap.

My reasons are not relevant to the person interested in transferring/swapping.

It's way too far into my 3rd year, there's no time to switch.
