Could someone please elucidate the difference between the PM Lexis & NBPME III?

I understand for certain states licensing DPMs they require PM LEXIS/and or PART III, which means they are different exams. . .

Thanks in advance.

I believe that the PM Lexis is NBPME III. I think that was the old name for it.
