There's no way to know what the stats of the first class will be. Schools may list what they're expecting on their website, but since most students with better stats will have acceptances at established schools and will go there instead, odds are that they'll be on the lower end.

Agreed. Obviously these newer schools (just like any other) will admit the best candidates they get but it's also likely that those great candidates will end up going somewhere else so that'll probably lead to a pretty quick moving waitlist (ie, lower "standard" in the end).

But hey, still a physician, right?
