Default Question about where to find Texas MPJE competencies

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I have the list of competencies but I'm having trouble finding some of them in the Lexis Nexis book (which I take it to be the Bible of Texas law). For example, where do we find info about retired/deceased practitioners? I find that I'm wasting hours googling and looking through that book to no avail. And I just have to express my frustration overall with that book. I go to look for a specific subsection (ie. 481.13) and then I get to that section and it is only the part that I am looking for that is missing in the book!

Someone please help!

I know this doesnt answer your question...if a practicitioner dies and there are refills still left on that rx, then the rx also expires...basically the rx dies with the doctor. In Brinkley's book I believe it's in the Dangerous drug chapter or the Miscellaneous Drugs and Laws chapter.

BTW I heard the Fed and Texas Law Review book by Brinkley and Cacciatore is the best guide out.Lexis is too detailed from posts I've read, but to each their own.
