Default Prepping for the Pcat

I'm a third year undergrad and I'm planning on taking the PCAT in January just to get a feel for the test. For the time being, I am going over old topics and some recently new ones. I'm almost done with my Chemistry courses. I have Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry. I also have a few more Biology classes to finish up on for my major. How significant are the Chemistry courses because I know I'm not going to be able to fully engulf myself as much as I want to, due to the fact that I am a student-athlete? I'm pretty much up to par on everything else, except for my few Bio and Chem courses. How tough on myself should I be in order to prepare? I know that could be looked at as a personal preference, but I'm looking for proficient guidance. I want to be able to walk into that room and feel confident and prepared, not nervous and over-analytical.

I suggest buying dr Collins study guide it mimics very closely on what's on the real exam. And time yourself for practice tests so u can prepare to finish each section on time.

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest taking a look at this thread here. I'm sure there will be the advice you're looking for.

Starting July, they are changing how the PCAT is going be formatted. There will be more biochemistry, more microbiology, more genetics, more anatomy and physiology, and LESS general biology.
