The importance of general education classes?

I would like to ask how important GE's are in terms of getting into pharmacy schools? Would it really affect me negatively if I have a few B's and A-'s? I have been doing fairly well with most of my GE classes. However, I just received my spring quarter grades and noticed that I earned a B+ in Microeconomics. However, I earned an A- in my final course of Organic Chem and an A in my first course of Physics. But this B+ is bugging me because pharmacy schools often require Economics . Should I take Macroeconomics and get an A to make up for this or not? Thanks.

If you're making Cs and Bs in public speaking, history, English, and your other elective GE requirements then you have bigger problems than worrying about pharmacy school.

A B+ is fine. Don't waste your time trying to compensate for something that small. It won't really make a difference.

Macro was a good class though. If you have nothing else to take I'd recommend it.

Meh. Do your best on the science pre reqs. And don't fail. You'll be fine.
