Update for all of the AADSAS 2013 Applicants

Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone with AADSAS and they told me that the next mailing will be on this friday, July 6th. That would be the "second batch"

They also told me that there were not as many applicants in the first batch as usual, so the second batch is better off than the previous years.

Does the first vs second batch mailing matter?... who knows

anyway guys, best of luck to you all, and thank you everyone on sdn for helping each other out.

Just got off the phone with them as well, for anyone who was wondering they are on June 19th/20th as far as GPA verification is concerned. Hope they get to me I submitted on the 24th

thanks for the updates!...i submitted the 26th, i hope i get verified in time for that july 6th second batch!

If I submit by tomorrow, would I have a chance of being in the second batch?

No. It will take a few weeks to verify your GPA at this point, so you wouldn't be in the second batch.I just called and they are working on apps that were esubmitted 6/22 today.

Do most people submit on the weekend so those dates take longer to verify? I also submitted on the 26th, which is during the week, so I hope they get to mine before the 6th.

Thanks for the update Tely. Cutting it close for some of those dates, but being submitted at this point puts us all in a good position to start out.

Im still waiting for verification to start even though i esubmitted 3 weeks ago! My community college transcripts have not been recieved! I sent it out 6/5 and nothing, then after waiting 10 days, i called Aadsas and they told me to send another transcript, but i sent it on 6/22 and still nothing! I could have made the first batch all because of them

My school sent out my transcripts on 6/20 and they still haven't been received ... I called AADSAS today and they said it should be updated to "received" within the next few days...

Good! If anyone is interested in when your application is put into queue...
Basically, if you've submitted your application...your application is only considered "complete" when they receive your last transcript. This is when AADSAS puts your application into a queue for your GPA to be verified. My last one was received on the 20th so I should get in the 2nd batch.

Wasn't last week 2nd batch?!

I've heard of GPA getting verified in a couple days if transcripts have already been received. Is this true but highly unlikely?

Highly unlikely if you're trying for 2nd batch, since you just e-submitted. Took me 10 days after esubmitting for verification of GPA and my transcripts were received 10 days before I esubmitted...

my app was submitted yesterday, and aadsas already have my transcript..
since the GPA verification, i wont be in second batch.. right? just checking...

I doubt it. I submitted June 25th, and my GPA still isn't verified.

Someone else on the "2013 applicants- please post when gpa is verified" thread said that they submitted on the 25th and they were verified today! I'm sure yours will be soon.

According to the aadsas rep i spoke to today she said they were verifying gpas for students whose app was deemed complete on june 22nd. Im assuming theyre off tomm for the holiday and im guessing anyone whose app was completed on june 24th-25th their gpa wont be verified till next week.
Complete date is based on when they recieved all of your transcripts

So my app has be e-submitted and my GPA's were verified on 07/02. The mailing date hasn't been updated though..will my app be mailed out this Friday? Hopefully the mailing date get's posted tomorrow! I'm guessing it won't be posted today since it's a holiday. Fingers crossed!

My gpa was verified yesterday and I submitted on the 24th.

i e-submitted on the 6/23 and got verified on 7/3. AADSAS mailed out to schools on 7/6.

And I got to wait till my summer semester is over and grades post till I can submit my transcripts which wont be until July 25th. Then however long it takes the school to get the transcripts to AADSAS and then to process it. Everything else is done and just waiting...

If you wrote In Progress for your summer course on your app, your application will not be held for that last transcript to be received. However, if you want that course's GPA to be factored in because you think it would raise your GPA, then make sure it is specified as Completed or else they will not wait for that last transcript before it is verified if everything else is in.

just a quick question, if AADSAS done verifying my GPA, will they send me e-mail?

Yes, an e-mail will be sent to the address you provided in the application telling you that you've been verified.
