Default Bluetooth in your...Tooth!? o_O

SDN Members don't see this ad.
"The ultimate bluetooth handsfree is here, an extremely small microphone is packaged with solar panel and battery to provide the most portable unit to date. The durable composite resin filling is designed to fit in a hole 2.2mm in diameter and 1.7 mm deep and will pick up sound and vibrations from your mouth to produce incredibly clear sound. The earpiece is comfortable and features replaceable rubber ear grips and attractive chromed inserts. This product is compatible with all Bluetooth capable phones with Handsfree and Headset profiles. Awesome function from true nano electronics, never forget your trusty bluetooth kit ever again, simply install and forget. Order today with confidence thanks to Chinavasions excellent wholesale prices and 12 month warranty."

Yeah, so what are your thoughts on this? For starters, I think it's a pointless thing to buy, and second I think that would be a weird procedure for any dentist. But who knows, this might be the future! (more than likely not!)

My thoughts? Anybody who orders an radio beacon filling had better never, ever complain about all the problems their silver fillings are supposedly causing them.

Very funny...dentists can now set up kiosks in their waiting rooms to sell and repair cell phone accessories.

I wonder what Verizon would pay to have their name in your office...

the naming rights of the office alone could be worth tens of dollars!

This should make for some awkward stories for those people who often make accidental calls or leave their phone on.

If it also had GPS tracking capabilites, I would buy 2 of them in a second. One for my oldest kid and 1 for my youngest!

I could have such a blast with the possibilities as they get older and start dating. If something was about ot "get interesting" a quick call to their #19, and the teenage hormone rage could quickly be brought down a few levels!

This is so stupid. Just hold the phone to your ear for the few minutes you are on it... It really isnt that hard.

I don't get it...how would you hear what the other person is saying if the device is in your tooth?!

I must've skipped that sentence. Oops! Still, if you have to wear a Bluetooth ear piece anyways, you might as well just use the original Bluetooth that attaches to your ear.

Yeah, especially since the earpiece will still needs it's own power supply and bluetooth radio.
