Default DO Schools and Research

SDN Members don't see this ad.
I know that schools like Pcom, Ccom, Tcom and Msucom have deep research connections but I was wondering if schools like Lecom have opportunities of the same caliber available for their students.

I was told LECOM does not engage in much research, you are right about those other schools with regards to research but in general it usually Allopathic Schools that have much bigger research capabilities.

NOVA has recently put a lot more money into research and AZCOM is amping up their research as well.

VCOM is also building up its research profile. They just opened up a biomechanics and sports medicine research institute with Va Tech, complete with a crash sled. The faculty are involved with quite a few NIH-funded projects as well.
