Admission committee uses their own formulas (GPA, essay, expository writing, experiences in healthcare and in pharmacy, last 45 units GPA, etc...) of selecting the "best" possible candidate that will be successful in their program.
Committee hold does not mean they wont get in. They are still going to be evaluated throughout the interview cycles (there is 3 interviews left). Good luck to everyone still awaiting interviews and getting acceptances. I'll will be seeing everyone in August!    Go Class of 2013!!!!!
