you can probably get in the 6 year program. i remember the cutoff for that was like 3.5 unweighted (they look at unweighted grades). I'd say you have a very good chance to get in with those stats. The 5 year program is a little too fast for my taste, just in case you don't think dentistry is right for you, 6 and 7 yrs you at least get a bachelors

Is it really that easy to get in to 6 year programs?
I applied back in 2005, to Upenn, i had similar stats(though my AP scores were all 5, except for a 4 in lit.) and I was rejected without interview.
I checked some of the accepted, they all have about 2200 SATs(from talking to some younger friends, i have found that scores have shot up in the past 2-3 years), around 750 SAT II, mostly 5s or 7s(IB) and of course 4.0.
I found it almost impossible, check out collegeconfidential.com, they are the sdn of high schoolers.

PS: I really hope you aren't korean, because a korean student taking korean SAT II raises a lot of questions
good luck

Yea, these programs are extremely competitive. 4.0s are way too common in highschool, so the difference maker usually lies within the ECs. The OP's stats as writen won't get him/her into Stanford, unless there were some very good ECs and whatnot in there to differentiate him/her from the rest of the crowd. I would assume this program would be as competitive as getting admission into a school such as Stanford. I don't know anything about the new SAT grading scale, but I do know that with a 4.0, you shouldn't be getting 3s on these AP exams. There's really no point in not applying, but no one here can assure you anything other than give you their own, and most likely, incorrect opinion to make you feel good about yourself.

I understand your point, but those accelerated programs are all equally hard to get in to as many distinguished students are looking to take the shortcut. I was merely drawing on my personal experience to show you that i am not randomly trashing your stats or anything.
good luck

I do appreciate ur opinion, and I acknowledge that these programs are highly competitive that students with my stats are not likely to be accepted. But I heard that UOP's dental programs were somewhat easier to get into than other programs, UPenn's for instance. So I was hoping to get some accurate information from those who got into UOP dental programs. Dont get me wrong. I do value ur opinion and thanks.
