Default what happens if you fail NBDE 1?

is there a negative repercussion to failing the NBDE 1 other than having to take it again? thanks

there used to be no negative effect earlier and people kept retaking it ti improve scores or pass etc. To counter that the ada has introduced the rule of listing all past attempts of the nbde in the score report.

which means that if you fail, and then take it again and pass it everyone would know you failed the first time?
