Hey guys, I'm sorry if this question has been asked already but I just wanted to know how I should interpret some of my Kaplan practice test scores.
I just took a FL and I got a 41 (WOO ) but at the same time, I saw that this was mostly due to the fact that Kaplan has pretty generous curves. For example, I missed about 10 questions in the BS section and still got a 14. So my question is should I really consider these Kaplan FLs to be in anyway indicative of my tentative performance on test day? I know that I can't hope to go around missing 10 questions and still get a 14 on the real thing. But I was wondering if the nice Kaplan curve is because of the fact that some Kaplan sections seem more difficult (like PS) than the AAMC ones (at least to me, haha) Thanks for your help! |

My kaplan median toward later stages of studying for 5-8 is 38 and for aamc 5,7,8 is 37 kaplan average for those is 38 and aamc is 36.67. |

i would take it worth a grain of salt. the AAMC tests are much better predictors, but the kaplan tests are still good practice for endurance/CBT format/etc. I was scoring high 30's on my kaplans and 33-35 on AAMC and got a 28 on the real thing first time around (retook for a 35), but I def had a false sense of confidence from the kaplan tests going into my first test
