You need to retake the OAT. Your GPA is probably fine.

The rest of your app is very important for some schools such as SCO.

GPA: 3.502 with a science GPA around the same (OPTOMCAS hasn't calculated it yet but when I did it was a 3.47.
OAT: QR: 330 RC: 400 Bio: 360 OChem: 280 GChem: 350 Physics: 270 : :TS: 310 AA: 330 To explain my Physics score, I hadn't yet taken Physics 2 which is what was mostly covered on my exam. I got a B in Physics 1 and am currently enrolled in Physics 2 with plans to get an A. I got an A in Organic Chemistry and the lab and have a letter of Rec from my Orgo professor. What do you guys think? Am I competitive enough for NOVA, ICO, SCO, WUCO, SCCO, or NECO? I also applied to Puerto Rico but I'm not sure I'm ready to make that jump.. Thanks for any feedback ya'll might have! |

I recently did my oat. I'm still debating if I should spend more money to retake the test. I am thinking about applying to Berkeley among other schools, but I feel like my score probably doesn't meet up to Berkely's standards (their AA is 354). I just wanted to see if I should even bother using lots of money to turn in my application if I have no chance, and besides, Berkeley is not on top of my list of the schools I want to go to.
Also, what about other schools, like Pacific, Southern California, or Illinois? My score was: QR: 300 RC: 310 Biology: 350 Chem: 370 Ochem: 310 PH: 340 TS: 340 AA:330 Any opinions is greatly appreciated. I just dont want to waste time and money if it's clear that I have no chance. Should I retake my oat? my score for ochem, rc, and qr are not so hot. Thanks! |

Man, I feel so behind. Everyone seem to already turned in their applications, got interviewed, or got accepted. I have yet to write my essay. I was solely just studying for the OAT. Now that the stress for the test is over, I end up sick lol. I dont know if you got accepted this year, but congratulations on getting accepted to SUNY |
