Schools with shortened preclinicals where a HUGE plus for me, then location. Baylor Columbia UCLA Duke Emory Harvard Morehouse USC NYU UPenn Stanford OSU - my state school Tulane UCSD UCSF UVA Vanderbilt Yale Should I add any others or take any off? I have FAP so its not terribly expensive. |

Without some kind of tie to California, I feel that you might be shooting yourself in the foot by applying to these, FAP or not. I am sure someone else will tell you to throw a bunch of the "bottom of the list" schools as the list does seem top heavy. You would get a better response in the What are My Chances section. |

We have nearly identical stats! I agree with the above poster. if you have the extra money to try for the cali schools then by all means go ahead. i would throw some more mid to lower-tier schools in there though because you want to try and maximize your chances.
