Default Let me get this straight...(score question) -No site in SF?

I'm considering applying to the NHSC Scholarship program & my major concern is the restriction I may face in choosing sites. So as of now the minimum score is a 16, correct?

So I went to this website: http://hpsafind.hrsa.gov/HPSASearch.aspx

And then I looked up all the HPSA sites in San Francisco & I got this listing below:

Does this mean that there is not a single HPSA site that would qualify in San Francisco?

Try the NHSC Jobs Center (http://www.nhscjobs.hrsa.gov/external/search/index.seam). That gives you a better idea of which centers are where, and isn't restricted to looking at ONLY one county - it will give you results of nearby counties as well.

That being said, if you MUST be in San Francisco County (not even the neighboring counties) and you absolutely MUST be in California, the NHSC scholarship is likely a poor choice for you.

San Francisco does not have any qualifying centers for the scholarship (or loan repayment). There are other qualifying health centers in the surrounding Bay Area.
