I had Dr. Sweeney, but just treat it as if it was a regular interview, show them that you're not only interested in vet med but also why you are interested in SGU and have some questions prepared for you to ask him/her at the end of the interview.
Good luck! |

I'm really beginning to get worried that I haven't heard back yet. My interview was Jan 17th! I emailed Krista last week and she said I should be hearing any day now. ARGH.

SGU SVM c/o 2015!

before you sign up for this master's degree be sure to get opinions from current faculty and students about what this master's sets you up for. one of my classmates came in as a dual for this program and dropped it quickly after realizing it was not at all what she wanted (i think the advice given to her was something along the lines of it will set you up for more managerial rather than field type work and that she certainly didnt need a masters to do any of the exotics/wildlife work she planned on doing)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sorry you didn't get in, I hope you're doing OK and not too disappointed. I've been rejected from everywhere I've applied in the US so I know that's easier said than done...

Eek. I just had a skype interview tonight. im super super nervous!! I feel like it went ok, but now thinking back I feel I could have spoken more clear about things and totally forgot to mention things I did want to mention...What were your stats, if you dont mind me asking? I have a lower GPA, so just wondering....there is so much back and forth about their average GPA they accept it makes me nervous!!
Sorry you didnt get in =( Did you apply elsewhere? |

Hi!
So I applied early March and my application status says under Decision: "Interview, Response Required". Does this mean I have an interview and they are waiting for my response? Or is this unofficial and I still need an email from them? Thanks! |
