first thing is get the released exam drom their website. and then work out the questions. find the answers to the questions and find out why the wrong answers are wrong if you do this you will pass the exam. the questions are similar still. So i woukd start with the release packet first. if you want additional resource then use decks.

the other thing is start rigght away with the released packet bc there are a lot of questions to go over. and its not enough to knownthe right answers you need to know why the wrong ones are wrong. so give your self about three or more months just for the packet.

those that took the the exam and succeeded said they study the packet that's on the website and said it was very similar. The released exam is in the deb section. if you go to the international section on the dental forum you will see many have used the deb released exam to study for the ftk exam.

Not quite sure what you are asking here, but yes the people taking the test fkt used the released NDEB test and those who took it said it was similar. So get the released NDEB test and find the answers and find out why the wrong answers are wrong. Do this and you will pass. If your looking for another aid dental decks are good.

Dear Voltron,

Would you have the 2010 released questions PDF file? If yes, can you please share the same at rajjoo@rediffmail.com?

Not sure what you are asking here but, if yoru asking where to start if you are studying for Canada's NDEB then start with the release packet. find the answers and find out why the wrong answers are wrong. This can take several months to do so start early. If you need an adjunct use decks. If you are refereing to USA NDBE than try kaplan or decks, and then review their released exams.

This is not a thread for requesting study materials. You can either obtain that from official sources or through the classifieds here. Distributing pirated materials will not be permitted on SDN.

Hi Voltron2010,

I've been to the NDEB web site and downloaded the released exam questions... but I'm not sure what you meant by "the ftk site" (I don't recognize the acronym). Is that a different web site than the Canadian NDEB web site?

Thanks

Default AFK 2013 Refrence Materials

I am planning to take the Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge Exam in February 2013. The NDEB website lists several reference materials that can be used for my review. I don't think I will have time to read all of them- so i will appreciate if someone can recommend which reference materials I shoud give more time to.

I honestly do not understand why people can't read the damn instructions on the NDEB website. The sample questions are here:
http://www.ndeb.ca/sites/default/fil...ReleaseEng.pdf
The answers you have to find yourself.

Based on the FAQ page NDEB will provide a confirmation letter for getting a visa to do the exam . Therefore, you don't need to be a PR. Researching is good.
http://www.ndeb.ca/nonaccredited/faq

But I bet for licensure a dentist you need to get authorization from Immigration Canada, at least in Ontario if you are not a PR or Citizen of Canada:

Everyone needs to take a look at this post before posting requests for the released exam questions. This thread is not the place to be searching for study partners, requesting pirated materials, or other want ads. This thread will now be closed.
