Should I Wait?

My Spring 2012 grades don't come out until like June 22.

However, this is only for one of my universities. I also attended CC.

Should I wait for June 22 (when I will e-submit) or should I send the transcripts for the other colleges now?

I would wait until June 22 until all of your grades are posted. Applying a few weeks after the unlocking of the AADSAS application will not hurt your chances of securing interviews at dental schools. You will still be considered as one of the "early applicants".

do people get a gold star for being first?
I thought 1st,2nd,3rd batch was considered early. That's why I'm taking my time lol

No but being in the first bitch is obviously better than the 3rd. You have less people to compete with.

How is your gpa as it stands now? Have you already taken most of the prerequisite classes?

All done. My GPA is low. Like 3.0 or 3.1 overall.

Hm, if you think it will raise your gpa to wait, I believe it may be something to consider. Normally I wouldn't say to wait, but if this semester can raise the lower gpa some it might not be a bad idea. Best of luck.

Yeah that's why.

I sent in all my transcripts yesterday but I don't plan on e-submitting until June 22nd ish so will they have my stuff on file but only start verifying once the spring 2012 stuff comes in?

The general rule of thumb is to always submit as early as possible. You may always send out transcripts to all the schools as soon as your grades are out. In fact some schools may ask you for your summer grades before offering you an interview.

These aren't summer grades. I did a 1-year Master's and it's Spring 2012 grades. Submitting the application now would mean withholding nearly 1/3 of my Master's GPA.

Oh true! Yea well your rite then maybe you should hold out a bit. Sorry about that, I thought it was just summer classes.

Just curious... what is the cut-off date for 1st batch then?

I remember last year their was like a 10 day grace period at least from when the application cycle opened to when they send out their first batch, granted you have your transcripts in and such on time.
