Kaplan's new High Yield video program for 2CK

I thought that Kaplan's Step 1 high-yield program was great, so I was stoked to find out that there's a new 2CK program. But it seems like they only have a demo version online... is it possible to have an idea of when the full version will be available for purchase?

Meanwhile, you are probably reviewing content along with practicing questions! Be sure to give plenty of time to Internal Med as it is tested so heavily on the exam. Make sure your self-testing scores are high enough before you take the exam. You may consider an NBME self-assessment exam to predict rather well your score on the actual exam.

I am really considering using these videos. They look great from the online sample. Has anybody found these useful? Also, what would you think about using them during clerkships? Would really appreciate any advice!

I thought they were great. I've recommended them to everybody who has asked me for Step 2 study advice. They nail down a lot of great points without wasting time on stuff that is unlikely to be tested (unlike DIT, which tries to make you memorize fourth- and fifth-line treatments for everything... and that's coming from somebody who really loved DIT for Step 1). Everything Conrad Fischer touches is gold.

That said, I wouldn't use them for clerkships. Clerkships are when you should be learning detailed info about everyday management, not exam pearls. I think the full Kaplan course was great for clerkships, but that's also quite expensive.

Well beyond error correction, the 2nd edition of Master the Boards USMLE Step 2 CK is updated with all changes in medicine in the last two years so that it reflects every difference in standard of care. To quote Dr. Fischer, “It is cracklingly current.”

Dr. Fischer also emphasized that the Step 2 High Yield course was developed to match the new edition of the book!
