hey guys,

do you know how step 1 is graded? It seems everything is all controlled by some magical formula. I guess my question is, is it bad to take step 1 in july vs. june? is the curve different?

I suppose it is too late to worry about this...but just out of curiousity...

my date with destiny is on this thursday...and boy, do I need a miracle...

thanks!

No difference as to when you take the test. Scores are all curved. Good luck, I'm taking Step 2 soon!

is it true that people who take step 1 in late may or early june have higher averages than people who take it in late june?

i heard this somewhere and i don't know if it's a rumor, it may have some merit considering that the earlier you take it, the fresher is the info in your mind and less burnt out you are (that's assuming you've been caught up on everything during 2nd year!)
