That would be so unprofessional. I think I would feel so uncomfortable. Thank goodness...i'm not pretty enough to get the "better" treatment.

this happened to me...
when i was a ms3 on ob-gyn...the service was populated with female staff and residents. no men. none.
i was a total gunner student, worked very hard...got honors...
i was told during my 'exit interview' with the ob-gyn residents that i did very well on the exam, eveyone liked working with me, etc...but also, and they really said this..that they thought i was 'totally hot'...i was happy to do well on the rotation, but I felt that the achievement might have been tainted with opinions that were not academic. i actually still feel bad about the experience.

and to the original poster, If that's your picture you're definitely going to be getting special treatment in med. not only from the attendings, but also the residents, research fellows, profs. and classmates.
