Are there any rankings of DO schools, similar to the predominantly MD rankings done by US News and World Reports? Just wondering how to sort out the best DO schools from the others.

Thanks.

There really is no ranking for DO schools. I think all of them will give you the education you need to be successful. You should pick school on cost, location, and match lists if available.

Maybe U.S. News will start ranking DO schools some day.

It already does.

US News rates medical schools - MD & DO - without distinction. Their last list included several DO schools.

NSUCOM is the best osteopathic medical school in Ft. Lauderdale. Florida. I used to say its the Harvard of the south, but now we've got competition from LECOM bradenton and PCOM georgia. Damned muddy waters.

Right. I was just asking if there was a comperhensive DO ranking as opposed to the US News rankings, which seem to somewhat ignore DO schools.
