I hope there are some people on SDN that agree with me. There really is no difference between DO and MD; we will all be physicians. And what is the point of becoming a physician? The simplest reason: "to help people"
Take pride in that and get excited about it. We all work together and we all work for the same purpose. We alll need to recognize this and get excited about our futures!

Good luck to all of you who strive and work your ass off to reach your goals, and don't let two little letters control your excitement.

Perhaps it is the subtle differences that can make the difference in helping a patient, such as knowing an alternative method of treatment. The advice I keep hearing over and over is that your usefulness as a doctor depends on the number of skills in your repetoire. Knowing OMT makes you more useful, and as an aside, it can also be a alternative source of income for your practice.
