Hi all, this is my first time posting but I've read the great advice you've all given, so I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with T-F-E q's. I just finished taking the kaplan course, and their only strategy is counting horizontal and vertical lines, but whenever I apply this to problems, it never helps. I am wondering where I can find the best strategies for how to do well in this section. Also I've been reading that the angles on the acutal DAT are a lot harder, where can i find more realistic questions?
thanks a lot! |

Barron's guide has a pretty decent section on various strategies for the PAT.
(I wouldn't use the book for anything else though.) I've also heard that ACE the DAT is pretty good for PAT practice and DAT Achiever is nice as well. (I haven't taken the test yet, but I've heard that these two sources basically prepare you for the worst and make the real thing look a lot easier.) |

I've heard that the angle section on the real thing is more difficult.
(Other than that I've heard both opinions on most of the other sections.) |
