Hello,
I was wondering if there is somewhere on the internet that has research journals from PODS? Also, is there an online version of Podiatry JAMA. (JAPA)? I am just curious of what new technology/ advancements that have been found from POD research. Since, I have time at work tonight, I want to learn more about some the research that PODS do. Thanks |

Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Assn Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Foot and Ankle Clinics The Foot You'll need a subscription to access more than the abstracts in most cases, but there are some free issues available. In addition, The Foot is now available at Science Direct and a lot of schools have access that way. Ask your librarian. |

Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery http://www.jfas.org/ scpod had mentioned the Foot and Ankle Clinics. This is a journal that foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons mainly contribute to. The Podiatry equivalent to Foot and Ankle Clinics is the Clinics of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, as scpod listed. Other popular foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon journals are: Foot & Ankle International http://www.datatrace.com/medical/FAI_body.htm Techniques in Foot and Ankle Surgery http://www.techfootankle.com |

A search for "pie" will bring up articles like: El pie plano valgo: eviolución de la huella plantar y factores,El pie cavus : causas, formas clínicas, síntomas, evolución y tratamientos, or Efectos deletereos de las hiperqueratosis en los pacientes diabéticos from quite a number of Spanish language journals. Of course, just like in the US, you'll have to subscribe to most of them to actually read the articles. |

All the articles mentioned so far are great. I just wanted to add that you can do a search on Pubmed at http://www.pubmed.gov then choose the articles in those journals.
