Yes, the DAT includes questions on nomenclature of all 275 bones. I know it's alot, but here's a study aid I used. Hope it helps!

The foot bone con-nected to the...leg-bone,
The leg bone connected to the...knee bone,
The knee bone connected to the...thigh bone,
The thigh bone connected to the...back bone,
The back bone connected to the...neck bone
The neck bone connected to the...head bone

I never learned the names of the bones for the DAT and it didn't hurt me.

No, DAT will not ask about bone names. Except for some weird reason "femur" is the sixth answer to every general chemistry question...weird dude.

you don't need to memorize name of bones, but do know the different clasts blasts cytes and how they relate to each other.

That just made me totally laugh.

Almost as bad as I hit my funny bone and that's not humerus.

Ahhh...bio humor.

I agree with this.

One of my questions had either osteoclasts or osteoblasts as the answer.

you do have to know bone names
on my DAT at least (for the bio section)

I knew every g'damn bone, fissure, phalange, lobe and orbital.......for anatomy and physiology lab.

I'm pretty sure they won't ask you the name of your boner on the DAT. If they do, you're taking the wrong test.

Um...

On my DAT I had a question about the names of bones in the arm...so yes they can ask questions about that.

In case the OP needs to know for the DAT:

arm (brachium) >> humerus
forearm (antebrachium or antibrachium << I've seen both spellings) >> ulna & radius [ulna is the one with the trochlear notch & medial to the body]

double check. It's been a while
