I am aware of the role of a Medical Toxicologist in academics but I am curious to hear about career prospects for this specialty in the private world. Is anyone pursuing this fellowship? If so, what are your career aspirations? Also, does this training make you more marketable when job hunting?

Peace

I did a Tox clerkship a couple of months ago and talked to the graduating fellow about it..... He was going to a non-academic group. His role there was going to be just as a normal EP. They told him that if he wanted to do Tox consults, they were cool with it, but that he would have to arrange the administrative (i.e. billing etc.) side of things.
