Post US residency with Canadian degree

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I was wondering if anyone knew whether it is easy or difficult for someone with a DMD from Canada to do a specialty residency in the US. Is Canada treated differently than overseas students? Do you first have to pass the US board exams? Do schools only take a limited number of Canadian aplicants?
Any answers to these questions would be appreciated especially if someone has actually gone through the process.

thanks
