My 1st suggestion is to look on the MD-PhD forum here:

However, the MSTP essay should be pretty personal describing why you want/desire to be a physician-scientist (MD-PhD) vs either a Physician (MD only) or Scientist (PhD) only. Why you want to do research rather than being a purely clinician. That sorta thing and that is something only you can answer.

I really hope this isnt for you Primary, but if it is get it in ASAP!
