Exclamation Topics In Healthcare - A Comprehensive Look

SDN Members don't see this ad. (About Ads)
I need your help collecting links for SDN.

Since it seems a lot of questions for discussion fall into the realm of this "topic of healthcare" forum. I would like to make a comprehensive sticky with links to various sites on the internet. I would like to update our site for those who might be looking for information on a particular topic for interviews or just curious by nature. This way they can just go through and find what might help them.

I'd like your help in submitting links and topics on this subject matter as the internet is a vast resource and I'm sure some of you have great information that you'd like to share.

Some topics to include:

General Healthcare information sites
General Health News Sites
Bioethics
Socialized Medicine, different payor systems
healthcare provider News
Medical Research
Specific ongoing issues are welcome as well
etc.

I'd also like to expand to have pertinent information for all SDN users (dental, optho, pharm, etc).

Thanks!
Mushy

Default ABGs explained

Hi, I found this great site when I was studying for a pulmonology exam. It makes ABGs make sense! http://www.altitude.org/calculators/ABGcalculator.htm
There's also a load of great interactive stuff about high altitude medicine, but I don't think that is of quite as much general interest.

Default Great opportunity

http://www.cfhi.org/web/index.php/

I am an alumni of CFHI, an NGO that places health science students in health care programs around the world. For anyone interested in learning about health care and themselves, the programs that CFHI offers are truely life-changing!
